F.A.Q.

•How long have Murdoch’s Crazy Eyes been together?
Murdoch’s Crazy Eyes formed in Feb 2006 and has been gigging regularly ever since.

•Is it always the same members?
If any one from the normal line up is not available, we prefer not to take a booking on that day. However, on the rare occasions that it is unavoidable, we do have reliable replacements. Being professional musicians involved in a number of projects,  we unfortunately cannot guarantee the line up.

•Can we come to see you play before booking you?
Yes. We play a number of public gigs throughout the year for this very purpose. However, these events are subject to cancellations if we get any private bookings on those dates.

•Your calendar says “Enquiry on this date” on our preferred date. What does this mean?
Another client has asked about the bands availability for this date, but a booking has not yet been secured. Even in this is the case, it is still worth contacting us as the the other client may decide not to book the band.

•Do you have insurance?
Yes. We have public liability insurance for damages up to £2,000,000.

•How much do you charge for an ‘X’ hour long event?
To get an instant quote, just go to our Enquiry Form.

•Do you have lights
Yes. Murdoch’s Crazy Eyes can provide a professional stage lighting set up.

•Do you have an engineer?
Yes, we provide an engineer of all events to ensure you get the best quality sound from us.

•How long do you need to set up?
Ideally we need an hour and a half to set up, sound check and get the stage looking presentable. This can be a disruptive process so we prefer to do this before any guests arrive, or at least while guests are in a different room.

•What will you wear?
We always dress smartly and suitably for the occasion.

•Do you take requests?
We can learn specific songs to play at your event. The first dance at a wedding is free. Any other songs have an additional charge of £60 per song to cover rehearsal costs.

•Do you accept more than one booking in one day?
It is rarely possible for the band to play at more then one event in the same day.

•How long do the breaks last?
The timing for when we play and how long our breaks last can be tailored to your schedule.

•Can you play recorded music during the break?
Yes. If you do not have a DJ at your event we are happy to provide suitable recorded music to play through our PA system during the breaks.

•Do you expect to be fed?
It would be very much appreciated.

•What about deposits and payment?
Booking are secured by a deposit of 10% of the total payment.
